Michael Jackson‘s nephew praised Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock, alleging the comedian has used his family ‘as punching bags for his entire career.’

Taj Jackson condemned Rock’s Netflix special ‘Chris Rock: Selective Outrage’ released on Saturday after the comedian compared Michael Jackson to sexual predator R. Kelly due to previous sex abuse accusations against the Thriller singer.

Kelly was convicted in September for sexually abusing his 14-year-old goddaughter and other girls and filming their sex acts.

The King of Pop faced numerous child sexual abuse allegations throughout his career and went to trial in 2005 for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old boy. A jury deliberated for 30 hours but ultimately found him not guilty.

‘Chris Rock has used my family as punching bags for his entire career. Yet I am supposed to feel bad for him getting slapped and humiliated on the Oscars,’ Taj said.

‘After seeing a new clip of him attacking my dead uncle in the first minutes of his “Retaliation-I’m still relevant” special, I have 3 things to say,’ Taj wrote.

He continued: ‘1. What did my family ever do to you to warrant these decades of harassment and your constant bullying disguised as jokes? 2. Just because you were bullied early on in life doesn’t give you the excuse to bully others now. 3. Thank you Will Smith.’

Rock’s Netflix special premiered nearly a year after he was slapped by Smith on stage at the Oscars. The actor, who went on to win the best actor award later in the broadcast, appeared to be reacting to a joke Rock made at his wife’s expense.

‘The thing I have a problem with is the selective outrage, selective outrage. Everybody, you know what I’m talking about,’ Rock said during the special leading up to his Jackson comments.

‘One person does something, they get canceled. Somebody else does the exact same thing -NOTHING. You know what I’m talking about. You know, like the kind of people that play Michael Jackson songs but won’t play R. Kelly. Same crime, one of them just got better songs.’

Taj called Rock a bully who attacked his 'dead uncle.' He added: 'Just because you were bullied early on in life doesn't give you the excuse to bully others now'

Taj’s rant about Rock was applauded on social media by several people who warned, ‘Chris better keep Michael’s and your family’s name out his mouth.’

Others called on Will Smith to slap Rock once again.

‘@willsmith we need your help again,’ one person wrote on Twitter.

‘What he said and has said about Michael Jackson is ignorant and not right,’ another added.

‘That’s right, Taj… disrespecting MJ will not be tolerated!’ a Twitter user commented.

‘Right there with you,’ one person wrote.’ The only mistake Will Smith made is that he did it on camera.’

During his comedy special, Rock also verbally hit back at Smith a year after the incident that saw Smith banned from the Academy.

In a nearly two-minute segment, Rock fired off at Smith’s decision to slap him on stage at the awards ceremony and argued that Jada Pinkett Smith’s infidelity was far more embarrassing.

‘Everybody called him a b**ch, and who’s he hitting? Me,’ Rock joked to a crowd that included a friend of Meghan Markle’s who was spotted laughing backstage, according to Page Six.

Rock’s rant has been hailed by many as ‘the perfect/best way’ to get back at Smith for the moment that changed both of their careers.

The comedian made audience members and live viewers wait until the last ten minutes of ‘Chris Rock: Selective Outrage’ before he addressed the slap.

‘You all know what happened to me, getting smacked by Suge Smith,’ the comedian joked. Rock said: ‘It still hurts. I got ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears.’

Rock had joked at the ceremony that Pinkett-Smith was rocking a ‘G.I. Jane’ look which caused her husband to storm the stage and slap him, followed by him repeating: ‘Keep my wife’s name out your f***ing mouth!’

During his new standup special, Rock joked about his struggle in the year since.

‘Anybody that say “words hurt” has never been punched in the face,’ he said. ‘But I’m not a victim, baby. You’ll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying,’ Rock said. He joked that he ‘took that s**t like [Manny] Pacquaio.’

Remorse: Will Smith is 'still remorseful' over slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars and has tried 'unsuccessfully' to make amends with the comedian, a source told People this week
