How Travis Kelce Showed Love To Taylor Swift All The Way From Training Camp
Travis Kelce didn’t just impress on the field; he won hearts off it as well during the Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
The NFL star noticed a young fan sporting a Taylor Swift Chiefs shirt on the sidelines on Friday, July 26, and decided to make her day extra special.
“Travis saw my niece, wearing a Taylor @Chiefs shirt, threw his glove, missed, pointed at her, and threw again,” a user shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). “And I was completely unhinged and lost my mind. Clyde [Edwards-Helaire] signed the boys’ stuff. @tkelce and @Clydro_22 the best thank you!! You made training camp so fun,” the user added, later describing how the glove was “so sweaty it soaked through my brother’s pocket!”
Kelce, who had recently returned to Kansas City for the Chiefs training camp after a brief stint in Europe with Swift, was seen greeting fans warmly as he arrived. “Thanks for coming out today, guys,” he said in the videos shared online, appreciating the crowd’s support.
Before the camp, Kelce was busy supporting his girlfriend during the European leg of her Eras Tour. The couple was most recently spotted sharing an affectionate moment after her performance in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on Thursday, July 18, with the tight end wrapping his arm around the singer as she departed the venue. Throughout his offseason, Kelce, 34, managed to attend 14 of Swift’s shows, even joining her on stage during one performance at London’s Wembley Stadium back in June.
Fans seem to think the 14-time Grammy winner may have hinted at an engagement to Kelce during the Gelsenkirchen show as well. Performing a mashup of “Stay, Stay, Stay” and “Paper Rings,” Swift, also 34, sang lyrics that have fueled fan speculation about a possible engagement. One fan on X wrote, “SHE JUST PROPOSED TO TRAVIS KELCE ON STAGE.” Another added, “They are so engaged, right? I mean, it’s a done deal at this point.”
