Taylor Swift’s fans love Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs tight end misses no chance to give it back. During the Chiefs training camp on Friday, Kelce made a Swiftie’s day when he threw his gloves at the stand, and she was the lucky one to grab them.

Fans were impressed with Kelce’s gesture towards a fan. However, in the media interaction at the training camp on Saturday, Kelce explained how it was pure luck that a Swiftie caught the gloves.

“I wish it was as true as the video made it seem. I kinda just threw it in the stands, but sometimes fate, somebody just ends up landing a glove that they didn’t know they were gonna get,” Kelce said. [11:33]

Travis Kelce is back at the Chiefs training camp after a trip to Germany with Taylor Swift. During the press conference, Kelce said the practice camps have been valuable for him as they set the foundation for the upcoming season.

“It’s where it all starts. You wanna get that foundation set in the offseason of that leadership and that mentality and things like that. But, at the end of the day, this is where you really find out where the team is made of, how you sharpen the iron, how you guys practice, your practice habits,” Kelce said. [06:40]

Travis Kelce opens up about Chiefs’ possible stadium-change plans

After voters of Jackson County rejected the proposal for a sales tax extension to fund Arrowhead Stadium’s renovations, the Chiefs have been on the potential lookout for another stadium. The Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt has expressed how the franchise is considering all the options on the table.

Travis Kelce shared his take during the Chiefs press conference on Saturday.

“Arrowhead’s home for me in Missouri right now. I’ve been there for the past 12 years so I do feel like it’s a part of my heart and everything playing in that Stadium out there in and Raytown,” Kelce said. [12:54]

“But you know, the fans want what the fans want. We play for them. So I think it’s up to them and the head of the organization, Clark Hunt and everybody. I know they’ll do the best that they can to give everybody what they want, make the best decision for the organization.”

With the offseason coming to an end soon, the Chiefs would want to give fans some certainty about the choice of home stadium. The Arrowhead Stadium has been with the Chiefs for a long time now, and the team could consider staying until the lease expires in 2031.
