HE has starred in huge films including Happy Gilmore and The Water Boy – but Adam Sandler declared Taylor Swift the biggest movie star at the premiere of The Eras Tour.

The Hollywood star danced throughout the entire concert film with his wife Jackie in Los Angeles, where he joined celebs including Beyonce who turned out to support Taylor.

An onlooker said: “Adam waited over an hour for Taylor to come into the screening.

“He is a massive Swiftie was beyond excited to meet her and watch the concert film.

“Adam and his wife were up on their feet and didn’t leave until it had ended at 11pm. He was hardcore.”

Beyonce, whose concert film from her Renaissance tour is out December 1, joined Taylor for a photo opportunity before ducking out by a back exit.

Actress Julia Garner was also in the crowd and sat in the same row as Taylor, who was dancing along during the film with her backing dancers.

Taylor shut down the Grove in LA for the premiere and was on hand to greet fans and take selfies before giving a speech before it began.

She gave an emotional speech before the start of the screening and said: “You’re stuck with me because I’m gonna sit with you and watch this thing.

“But before we do that I just wanted to say thank you for wanting to spend your evening with us.

“This is a core memory for me. And this tour, let me just preface by saying I’ve always had fun doing this. I can’t believe music is my career, that’s crazy to me. I’ve always loved it.”

Speaking about making the film, which was created from footage from three huge nights on her global jaunt, Taylor explained: “I’ve never had a fraction of the amount of fun I had on the Eras Tour before.

“I have friends in this room, I have my amazing backing vocalists in this room.

“And let me just say my fellow performers on the stage; the dancers, the band, my backing vocalists, they would go out on stage every single night.

“In sickness or in health, in any weather conditions we would face, regardless of what was going on in our lives.

“We pranced on that stage grinning because of what met us and that was you. How much you cared about it. That was absolutely everything.

“So I think you’ll see that you absolutely are the main characters in this film because that’s what made the tour magical, that’s what made it different from anything I’ve ever done in my life.

“Your attention to detail, your preparation, your passion, your intensity, like you cared so much about these shows, and that made all the difference for us.

“It made us want to add even more shows and just keep doing the tour. And I think that I just haven’t felt this way about anything, the way that I feel about this experience that we have had and continue to have.”

She finished with a grin and said: “I am so proud.”
