Taylor Swift made history yet again at the Grammy Awards after winning Best Music Video for her romantic drama, All Too Well: The Short Film, on Sunday evening.
‘I can’t put into words what this means to me. For The Recording Academy and my peers to acknowledge me as a director, and in doing so, acknowledge my work to try and reclaim my music… I’m blown away,’ she wrote.
The Cardigan hitmaker went on to thank her ‘fans who willed this to happen.’
While she was not present to accept the trophy during a pre-televised portion of the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, her video co-producer, Saul Germaine made a speech.

‘It was an incredible honor to tell this story with you,’ he said of working with her as well as the short film’s stars, Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.
This marks Swift’s 12th Grammy Award, after earning 46 nods through her career, which has spanned multiple genres and made her arguably the most famous pop star.
Later in the evening, Swift made her presence known during the show as she danced along to Bad Bunny’s opening performance and cheered as her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles took home multiple awards.
At one point, host Trevor Noah sauntered over to her table to ask her to enlist fans to solve America’s egg crisis.
‘I’ve got to tell you, Taylor, you have the best fans in the world,’ the comedian, 38, said to Swift, which made her smile.
He continued: ‘I mean, what they did with Ticketmaster, what they might do for artists all over the world, what they might do for fans who want to go to concerts is amazing.’
The Daily Show host then asked Swift if her fans could ‘handle the price of eggs’ next.
‘There’s really nothing that they can’t accomplish,’ the Cats actress said with a laugh. ‘They’ll get on it. Just let them know what you need.’

Excited: After becoming the first person to win the category with a sole directing credit for their own music video, the 33-year-old singer took to Twitter to react to the news
Noah then gave a clear message to Swifties as he told them to get the ‘price of eggs down.’
‘You go after those chickens,’ he urged as Swift took a sip of her drink.
It comes after Ticketmaster finally apologized to Swift and her fans after a catastrophic pre-sale in November for her Eras tour, citing bot attacks and massive demand for leaving fans in a virtual line for hours and others unable to purchase tickets at all.
Over the past few years, Swift has begun to spend more time behind the camera as the sole director of her music videos The Man (2019), Cardigan (2020), Willow (2020), Anti-Hero (2022), and Bejeweled (2022).

Life of the party: Later in the evening, Swift made her presence known during the show as she danced along to Bad Bunny’s opening performance and cheered as her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles took home multiple awards
In December, she announced her plans to direct her first feature for an original script that she wrote.
Her project will be produced by Searchlight Pictures, which is the studio behind a number of critically-acclaimed flicks, including Nomadland and The Shape of Water.
While the plot and casting remains tightly under wraps, Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield described the singer as ‘a once in a generation artist and storyteller.’
