Susan Boyle showed off some trendy dance moves as she took part in her first ever Tik Tok video on Wednesday.

The Britain’s Got Talent star, 59, took part in a socially distanced jig with two of her friends, with pal Gez Rae uploading the video to social media shortly after.

Dancing to Laxed Siren Beat by Jawsh 685, Susan appeared to be relaxed as she wiggled her hips and moved her arms to the beat of the song.

Susan put on a stylish display for the video as she wore a white floral-print summer dress which she paired with white sandals.

The singer completed her look by covering her locks with a straw hat, while she kept her accessories minimal for the occasion.

Doing her best to follow along with the choreography, Susan mimicked her friend’s dance moves for the fun video.

The Scottish I Dreamed A Dream singer from Blackburn revealed in February she had been taking dance lessons with a view to appearing on Strictly Come Dancing,

Susan said at the time: ‘Someone suggested I would be good on Strictly Come Dancing. Yeah, I would like that. I’ve got some moves. I’ve been taking dance lessons.’

The singing superstar revealed earlier this year that she felt like an ‘act in a freak show’ during her first audition on Britain’s Got Talent.

Susan, who finished runner-up in the 2009 series of the show, admitted she felt ‘suffocated’ when she took to the stage as people were ‘laughing at her crazy hair’ and dress sense.

She told the Irish Mirror: ‘It felt quite suffocating, almost as though I was an act in a freak show, and that hurt.‘It was incredibly difficult to come to terms with for a time, but the positives have far outweighed the negatives.

‘Everyone was laughing at me; they wondered who this daft woman with the crazy hair was… and I had made a bad choice in clothes, so no-one had high expectations.’
