Taylor Swift, one of the best-selling musical artists of her time and a cultural icon, with a net worth of well over $1 billion (due to the hugely successful Eras tour), making her one of many celebrities with their own fleet of private aircraft. Swift presently owns two Dassault planes, including a Falcon 900LX acquired for $40 million in 2011.

The Falcon 900, which has a range of up to 4,750 nautical miles and improved efficiencies, has become a popular choice for those with the financial means to fly private due to its spacious cabin, luxurious interiors, and improved efficiencies, and appears to be Taylor’s preferred mode of air transport.

Swift previously had a smaller Dassault Falcon 50 plane, which she acquired for $4 million in 2012. Swift donated the money from the sale of the nine-seater aircraft to charity in March 2020.

It is unknown why Swift tends to prefer the French aircraft manufacturer over competitors closer to home, such as Gulfstream or Bombardier.
