One of the biggest action stars in Hollywood, Keanu Reeves, started his career as a teenage actor and became a superstar over years of hard work. The star opened up on his initial days in conversation with Jimmy Kimmel. Talking about his first acting job, the actor revealed that he got it when he was only 15. He shared that he was paid only $127 for the work.

Reeves said the work was for a Canadian TV show called, Hanging In, where he had only one line. He shared about his income, “I’m gonna [say] $127 … That’s bank.”
Reeves joked that the money is gone now, but that small amount also meant a lot to him at the time. He revealed that he also worked a paper route when he was younger to earn extra money.

Reeves played the role of a retired assassin who dons his work hat once again to take revenge for the death of his wife and dog. The films offer thrilling action scenes, bloody fistfights, dangerous stunts, and lots of killing. One needs to have a strong gut to sit through one of the John Wick movies. Nevertheless, the movies are box office hits and among the top-grossing movies in their respective year of release.
In respect of the income of the star from the superhit franchise, Keanu Reeves was paid $1 to $2 million for the first movie, as per The Hollywood Reporter. He was also given an ownership stake in the picture rather than just a percentage. For the second installment, he was paid approximately 2 to $2.5 million, along with income from an ownership stake. For the third part also, he earned approximately $2.5 million. However, for the fourth and final installment, he was paid a whopping amount of $15 million for the titular role.
