In a YouTube video, the actor was seen talking about his moments of fame when he was recognized for the first time. Stating how he portrayed the role of George Kirk in Star Trek back in 2009, the actor was talking about the premiere of the movie when his brother was mistakenly recognized as Chris Hemsworth and how he went on with the fan interaction.
“The first time I ever really was recognized when I came out of the Star Trek premiere and someone ran straight up to Liam [Hemsworth] and said ‘Oh, I love you in that movie that was so cool. Can I get a photo?’”
He further continued,
“And he looked over and he was about to say ‘I wasn’t in the movie’ and he went ‘Yeah, absolutely. I’ll take the photo’ and stole my moment. I’ve been recovering from that ever since”
Well, this wasn’t the last of Chris Hemsworth’s Star Trek adventures as the actor narrated a story about how there was a possibility of him returning to his role in 2018 but the film was never made.

Talking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor talked about what could have been a return to the iconic Star Trek franchise. Talking about how they were planning to make a movie in 2018 that could have received Hemsworth’s character, the actor revealed that everyone eventually got busy and the movie got shelved.
“It wasn’t what I sort of where I was thinking it would have been or could have been. I thought there would be, ‘Okay, cool, let’s figure that out and keep going.’ And then I think everyone got busy and so on. It would be weird now to flash back to your father and “why is he so much older than the first time when he died?”
The Chris Hemsworth starrer received a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDB and 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Marking the movie as his first movie debut, Star Trek is available to stream on Netflix in the U.S.
