Jada Pinkett Smith is taking ‘new year, new you’ to a new level, as her first selfie of 2024 is drawing comparisons to Fat Joe.

The gorgeous actress — who recently reunited with estranged husband Will Smith for the holidays — took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share a selfie in which she rocked aviator glasses, a deer-print puffer jacket and white sweatpants with black leg warmers.

She captioned it, ‘I think jean leg warmers is where it’s at for me in 2024.’

The photo was fabulous, but it didn’t take long for fans to see similarities between Jada and the Lean Back rapper, prompting a flood of hilarious memes on Twitter.

‘I thought Fat Joe got his hands on some ozempic,’ one follower posted, as another shared, ‘She look like Skinny Joe.’

A third follower wrote, ‘I was bout to congratulate Fat Joe on more weight loss,’ as yet another chimed in, ‘I’m proud of Fat Joe, he’s come a long way.’

Social media jokesters also confused Jada for other celebrities.

‘Pitbull got a cool new jacket… oh wait,’ said one, while another quipped, ‘I have never been so confused: Pitbull, Fat Joe, The Rock, everything fits.’

‘I still can’t belive Chris Rock got slapped over Vin Diesel,’ a fan also mentioned, referencing the infamous Oscar slap by Will Smith.

Speaking of which, Jada recently said Rock had asked her out on a date sometime before her husband smacked him on stage at the 2022 Academy Awards.

Earlier this year, the actress has been busy dropping bombshells during her promotional tour for her memoir Worthy – including the news that she and Will have been separated for 7 years – and in an interview with People, she said Chris called her up one summer to shoot his shot.

‘I think every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce,’ Jada began. ‘And this particular summer, Chris, he thought that we were getting a divorce.

‘So he called me and basically he was like, ‘I’d love to take you out,” she recalled. ‘And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No, Chris, those are just rumors.’

Jada also shared that she hasn’t spoken with Chris since the infamous Oscars slap, when Will slapped Chris after the comedian made a joke about Jada’s bald head.

‘[Do I have] any desire to talk to Chris? Here’s my desire: I just hope that all the misunderstanding around this can be cleared up and that there can be peace,’ she told the publication.

Jada admitted she and Will were in fact living separately when her husband strode onto the Oscar stage in a burst of fury over a joke that had been made about his wife’s bald hairstyle by Rock.

She noted that no permanent decisions have been made about the future of her marriage, explaining that she and Will are ‘still figuring it out’.

‘We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,’ she said. ‘We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like.’

Jada went on to praise her children – Jaden, 25, Willow, 22, and Trey, 30, who is Will’s son from a previous relationship – for standing by her during this rocky time in her relationship.
