Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Smith have been together since 1997, however, the two have faced many setbacks in the past 25 years. Earlier this month, Jada Smith revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016, living “separate lives.” However, the actor’s wife recently gave a contracting statement claiming that she’s happy with Smith and will never leave his side.

Despite the problems in their relationship, the two have not ended their marriage as they believe they could still fix things. The troubles began when Jada Smith admitted that she had an “entanglement” with singer August Alsina when she and Smith were separated. The actor also recently opened up about their marriage explaining that they have been trying to fix it for the past 18 months.

Actress Jada Smith was recently at Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore for the press tour of her book, Worthy. During the conversation, the actress claimed (via The Hollywood Reporter),
“Will and me are good. All the people who don’t understand and got something to say are just going to have to fall in line. The truth of the matter is, I’m not leaving Will’s side, and he’s not going to leave mine. We’ve been on a powerful quest. And I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
This comes just a few weeks after Jada Smith revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016. Smith also made a surprise appearance at the event to support his wife’s latest book, Worthy, which was published on 4th October 2023.

After making a surprise appearance, Smith hopped on the stage to support Jada Smith and talked about their marriage, explaining how it was “brutal and beautiful,” but they still support each other,
“I just really wanted to come out and just be here and hold it down for you the way you have held it down for me. We have had a very, very long and tumultuous [relationship]. We call it ‘brutiful.’ It was brutal and beautiful at the same time.”
The two got married in 1997 and faced several issues in their marriage over the years, however, the two were briefly separated in the mid-2010s and the actress had an “entanglement” with singer August Alsina at the time. This sparked divorce rumors, however, the two never ended their marriage as they believed they could fix the issues.
