Jason Statham has publicly apologised after being accused of having a homophobic rant on a film set in 2013.
The star, 50, reportedly launched into a homophobic rant on the set of Wild Card, when he was asked to do a reshoot, yelling at producers and managers to ‘stop acting like a bunch of ‘f***ing f**gots’.
Jason took to Facebook on Wednesday, claiming he has ‘no recollection’ of making the comments, but said: ‘if I did say these words, it was wrong’.

RJ Cipriani, an associate producer, who also goes by the moniker, Robin Hood 702, told The Sun that other cast and crew members were terrified by the outburst but were too scared to do anything.
Taking to Facebook, Jason wrote: ‘Someone approached me claiming to have a tape of me using terms offensive to the LGBTQ community during a conversation I had with my producing partner, on a movie set five years ago.

‘If I said these words, it was wrong and I deeply apologize. Anyone who knows me knows it doesn’t reflect how I feel about the LGBTQ community.
‘While I cannot fix what was said in the past, I can learn from it and do better in the future.’
The Sun claims to have seen a transcript of Statham’s words, which were said to have been said at Harrah’s casino in New Orleans during filming.

RJ Cipriani says Jason and his lawyer tried to stop this going public last year – a claim they deny.
A close friend of Jason told MailOnline on Friday that he is ‘surprised’ by the claims.
He said: ‘Jason is a salt of the earth guy. He does not discriminate in any way. I have never seen him behave like this in all the years I have known him.
‘It is simply not in his nature.’
MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Jason Statham for comment.
