Responding to the iCloud hacking scandal in a 2014 interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence said,
“I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”
“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime;” “It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change.” “When I have to make that phone call to my dad and tell him what’s happened… I don’t care how much money I get for The Hunger Games.”

Her take on fame and its repercussions, primarily the invasions of privacy
Lawrence’s work is an important contribution to the ongoing debate over privacy rights in the digital age. Her advocacy has helped to raise awareness of the issue and led to calls for changes to privacy laws. She keeps expressing her feelings about any and all invasions of her privacy every chance she gets, and rightfully so. In a 2016 interview with the folks at Glamour, she said,
“It took a few years to adjust [to fame]. I didn’t really realize how angry and distorted I felt. All I’m trying to do is act. And I have to promote these movies. And I am, at the end of the day, I guess, a f–king lunatic. So if you record what I’m saying, it’s gonna be goofy.”
