The organization assists in granting the wishes of kids with critical illnesses, ranging in age from 2 to 18. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Cena is the superstar most often sought after for the nonprofit’s wish program. He has granted 650 wishes to kids who wanted to meet him. He achieved this feat in 2022 and continues to grant several wishes to young fans.

 

Since making his debut in 2002, John Cena has grown to become one of the most well-liked wrestlers in WWE history. In 2002, he fulfilled his first wish, and in 2012, he fulfilled the 1,000th wish of the foundation. In a statement, Make-A-Wish stated that no one has ever granted more than 500 wishes in the history of the organization.

“If you ever need me for this ever, I don’t care what I’m doing, I will drop what I’m doing and be involved because I think that’s the coolest thing,” stated Cena in 2019. He has praised all the courageous kids who wanted to meet him. After granting his 500th wish, Cena stated, “There is no more humbling experience than a child who could ask for anything in the world asking to meet me”.

He further added, “I have faced some of the toughest Superstars in WWE history and I’ve never encountered more bravery or toughness than I see in each wish kid that I meet. It is inspiring to see the impact that granting wishes can have and I look forward to granting 500 more”.
