A’ja Wilson was ecstatic to see fellow Team USA athlete Jordan Chiles surprise everybody with her floor routine. The gymnast performed her floor exercise routine on 38-time Grammy winner Beyoncé’s song, earning a lot of praise from multiple fans, including Wilson.

The USA Basketball women’s team member took to social media to express her excitement over Chiles’ routine, showering her with praise.

“Jordan ya snapped!! 🔥🔥😮‍💨 yes ma’am yes ma’am 🤸🏾‍♀️🫶🏾,” Wilson wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

When one fan said Chiles ‘bodied that routine’, Wilson agreed with them.

She then sent a message to the rest of the gymnastics team, saying it is ‘goated’ and ‘golden’.

“Watching that live was insane! the @USAGym girlies are goated & golden ! 🥇😮‍💨🤍,” Wilson added.

Chiles meant to pay tribute to Beyoncé, using multiple tracks from her catalog. Some of the songs included ‘My House’, ‘Energy’ and ‘Lose My Breath’ by ‘Destiny’s Child’. She struck Beyoncé’s signature Renaissance pose as well as the shoulder shake from ‘Run the World’.

This performance earned Chiles the third-highest score for the floor exercise in the women’s team final, behind teammate Simone Biles and Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade. The USA team ended up winning the gold medal comfortably, with a strong showing from all its members, across apparatuses.
