It might be six years since Karlie Kloss has been pictured with her former BFF Taylor Swift, but she’s still very much a fan of her music.
On Tuesday, Yahoo! Life asked the Society Management model – turning 32 next week – what her favorite song was off the 34-year-old pop star’s 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped in April.
‘I’d say the whole album,’ Karlie gushed. ‘I mean, her music is classic.’
And while Kloss called Taylor’s 2013 track Love Story her favorite of all time back in 2013, she now says: ‘She’s got so many hits. I definitely love Shake It Off.’
The Thorne Health collaborator was seated pretty high up in SoFi Stadium when she attended Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Inglewood, CA on August 9, 2023.
Back in 2021, fans believed the 14-time Grammy winner wrote her Evermore bonus track It’s Time to Go about her friendship with Karlie: ‘When the words of a sister / come back in whispers / that prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed / not a twin from your dreams / she’s a crook who was caught.’
Taylor was said to have felt betrayed by Kloss, who was pictured vacationing with her nemesis – ex-manager Scooter Braun – in August 2019 just two months after he bought her back catalogue of master recordings behind her back.
The 42-year-old Grammy nominee – who announced his retirement last month – sold Swift’s master rights, valued at $450M, and she vowed to re-record all six of her first albums (four down, two more to go).
The towering blondes – measuring 5ft10in and 6ft1in – were practically inseparable between 2012-2018, and they originally met after Karlie tweeted ‘your kitchen or mine’ after Taylor told Vogue she wanted to ‘bake cookies’ with her.
On Tuesday, Kloss announced the first birthday of her ‘sweet little’ son Elijah Jude Kushner from her five-year marriage to billionaire Joshua Kushner.
The Schiarparelli FW/24 catwalker and the 39-year-old Thrive Capital founder – who began dating in 2012 – are also proud parents of three-year-old son Levi Joseph Kushner.
On March 28, the Bedford Media founders – who bought i-D Magazine last year – announced they were ‘honored’ to bring LIFE Magazine back to print and digital distribution after 24 years off newsstands.
Karlie’s upcoming goals including running in the New York City Marathon on November 3 – two years after undergoing knee surgery – as well as completing her degree from the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study
