Princess Kate made a stunning return to the public eye with her first appearance in over a month, seen alongside Prince William and Prince George. The 42-year-old royal was photographed attending a service at Cy Church on the Balmoral Estate. Cy Kirk has long been a favored place of worship for the royal family during their stay at Balmoral; it hosted a private service for the royal family following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022 and was the site of a Sunday service in 1997 following the death of Princess Diana.
Kate looked radiant as she sat in the front passenger seat of her Range Rover Defender, with Prince William at the wheel. She wore a light brown dress complemented by a pheasant feather hat, while William opted for a sophisticated navy suit. As pictured in The Sun, the couple appeared relaxed as they joined other royals for the service.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were also spotted, with the King in his traditional Scottish kilt and Camilla in a pair of red and green tartans. Prince Edward was seen escorting Princess Anne’s husband, Timothy Lawrence, and James, Earl of Wessex, along with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, to the church.

This public appearance came after Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March and had since maintained a low profile while undergoing treatment. Since then, she has only attended two public events: Trooping the Colour in June and the Wimbledon Men’s Final in July, where she received a standing ovation. The Wales family was last seen celebrating Team GB ahead of the 2024 Olympics’ closing ceremony in a video earlier this month.
