Princess Kate, reportedly visiting her ailing father-in-law during his health crisis, has raised concerns among royal fans regarding King Charles’ health, who has been diagnosed with cancer, as claimed by a former royal butler. Grant Harold, a former royal butler, expressed apprehension about the severity of King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, suggesting it might be more serious than initially believed. Harold noted that the 75-year-old monarch’s recent diagnosis seemed off, observing that despite returning to public duties after attending to his ailing wife Kate, King Charles appeared not quite himself in terms of health.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m starting to wonder if it’s more serious than we first thought,” Harold remarked. “The thing about the king, as I’ve said over the last couple of days, is that he’s someone who just gets on with business. He keeps his head down, he’s a real worker, a real grafter. But I just had a feeling that something wasn’t quite right. Time will tell, and I hope I’m wrong. I’d like to think I’m wrong, but something just doesn’t feel right.”
These concerns come amidst reports that Princess Kate is anticipating a change of scenery, stepping out of Windsor for the first time since undergoing undisclosed stomach surgery. The former royal aide also expressed worry over the royal family’s health crisis amid Prince William’s own health concerns. The monarch has postponed all public engagements following the cancer diagnosis, though reports indicate Kate took the risk to meet with him during his battle with cancer.
Prince William has taken significant steps to assist with royal responsibilities since King Charles withdrew from duties due to the unclear cancer diagnosis. The future king, reportedly assuming the throne after his father’s cancer diagnosis, has appointed former diplomat Ian Patrick as his private secretary.
