Yet Katy Perry took her edgy style from the stage to the streets on Sunday evening as she stepped out in Beverly Hills wearing a PVC bodysuit beneath a sheer dress for the American Idol wrap party, after she acted as judge on the show.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmarker, 38, looked sensational in the dress which showcased every inch of her incredible figure and left little to the imagination.

Ensuring she was vampish head to toe, she wore her raven locks in a sleek style and sported heavy and perfectly applied glam make-up.

Her outing came just hours after she captivated audiences across the country on Sunday night as she appeared in a sheer orange dress from Giuseppe Di Morabito for the American Idol season 21 finale.

She  showed off her figure in the clinging, mesh, stone-covered gown. The sleeveless number featured cutouts across the bodice.

Katy teamed the look, which was styled by Tatiana Waterford, AQUAZZURA’s So Nude 105 Croc Effect open-toe heels. The star took to Instagram after the show to share pictures and write in a caption: ‘orange u glad it was a great #idolfinale?’

Her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 46, showed support for his bride-to-be as he appeared in the comments twice – once to drop a flame emoji, and again to share a peach emoji.

Katy’s 198million followers on the photo-sharing app liked the post more than 75,000 times within the first hour it was uploaded.

The California-bred singer-songwriter protected her modesty by donning high-waisted orange briefs under the frock.

The stunning fashion piece was adorned with three flower-like accoutrements set along each tier of cutouts. The beauty, who is mom to two-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, wore her lengthy raven locks down.

Her hair was styled with an undefined side part as one side cascaded over her shoulder in a loose but structured wave.

Katy, born Katheryn Hudson, accessorized with diamond stud earrings and her oval cut ruby engagement ring.  Her short, natural-looking nails were manicured in a baby pink hue, coordinating with her pedicure.
