Katy Perry reveals she has been sober for five weeks.

The singer and mom of one has a pact with fiance Orlando Bloom to quit for three months, she said during a curated cocktail event at Mister Paradise in New York City, according to People.

The artist, 38, pretended to jokingly cry when she said: ‘I’ve been sober for five weeks today… I’ve been doing a pact with my partner and I want to quit.’

The star added that she ‘can’t cave’: ‘I made a promise. Three months.’

Katy was spotted leaving The View in a pink suit with a fringed top Tuesday afternoon in New York City.

The stunner chose cropped pink trousers with a baggy hemline, adding a matching oversized blazer.

Katy paired the striking look in a fringed black top that touched the floor; the statement top was a unique piece that perfectly matched her platform heels.

The brunette beauty paired the look with a matching light pink handbag with a crystal handle.

Katy added AGMES Baroque Luca earrings, small framed sunglasses and pink lipstick on her pout.

The stunner wore her hair center parted and pulled back to finish off her look for her interview.

Katy rocked two other looks earlier in the day for interviews – including a yellow and black motorcycle jacket with a white tee and jeans plus a brown and white leather and fuzzy coat.

During the cocktail party, People revealed that Katy grabbed one of her own branded drinks – De Soi.

De Soi is sparkling ready-to-drink non-alcoholic aperitifs, with natural adaptogens.

The phrase De Soi means ‘pleasure with restraint’ in French; the drinks come in cans or a bottle – in three flavors: Golden hour, Champagne Dreams and Purple Lune.

Katy co-founded and co-created the brand with Morgan McLachlan.

Katy is a judge on American Idol alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan; Ryan Seacrest is the host of the singing competition reality show.

Season 21 of American Idol is currently underway; it premiered on February 19, 2023 on ABC.

The artist began as a judge for American Idol in 2018.

Katy is engaged to British actor Orlando Bloom, 46.

Katy and Orlando are parents to daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, two, whom they welcomed in August 2020.

Orlando is also dad to Flynn, 12, with ex wife Miranda Kerr.

Katy and Orlando first met at the January 2016 Netflix Golden Globes/ Weinstein Company after party, sparking rumors of a romantic connection.

Soon after they were seen on several occasions spending time together, with images of the duo in Hawaii in February 2016 showing them kissing, confirming their burgeoning relationship.

Katy and Orlando split in March 2017 with their reps confirming the news and their desire to take ‘respectful, loving space at this time.’

However five months later, the duo are seen getting cozy at a concert and they are back on romantically by February 2018.

Orlando proposed to Katy on Valentine’s Day 2019 with a pink stone diamond surrounded engagement ring.

In March 2020 it was revealed that Katy and Orlando were expecting a baby together, with the pop star revealing the news by showcasing her baby bump in the Never Worn White music video.

They welcomed daughter Daisy in August 2020.
