In the interview, the actor seemed conflicted with his words as he said that he felt confident in himself due to his peers but couldn’t help himself from noticing what the critics had to say about his performance.
“I’ve never felt underestimated by my peers. By critics, sometimes. I try not to [read reviews], but I’m just such a sucker for that. It’s the bane of the actor: You’ve got to check in with what’s going on around you. It’s just the nature of the beast.”

The Constantine actor went on to learn over 200 martial arts movies for The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 and it seems that the moves have helped him throughout his career. The actor was last seen in John Wick: Chapter 4 with him all set to appear in Ballerina.

Alongside the John Wick verse, the actor is also attached to turning his comic book titled BRZRKR into an anime. There have been no confirmed release dates revealed for his projects.
