Keanu Reeves’ Girlfriend Alexandra Grant Gushes Over John Wick Star After Keeping Their Relationship Secret for 10 Years

Keanu Reeves might be highly known for his action roles in franchises like The Matrix and John Wick — but before that, he is known for his authentic generosity and kind heart.

The actor is loved and respected in the industry because he is Hollywood’s ultimate introvert and has more than four decades of career with some of the best movies ever.

Reeves is also known for his handsome face and cool humor, and that’s the reason beautiful actresses like Winona Ryder and Sandra Bullock admitted they had a crush on the Replicas star.

Although Reeves has always been private about his love life, it is confirmed that he is currently dating artist Alexandra Grant. And looks like Reeves’ girlfriend, Grant, is glad she met him when she was already established in her career.

In an interview with People on 23rd September, Grant talked about her relationship with Reeves. She said that the good news about falling in love as an adult (that too with Keanu Reeves) was that she had built her own career by the time her relationship had begun. Grant said:

“I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.”

Grant mentioned that she sometimes experiences creative frustration and feels like a “Maserati stuck in traffic.” However, she credits Reeves with helping her overcome these moments. The artist continued:

“What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we’re pushing each other to build new roads. Seeing the other person’s problem-solving is inspiring, like, ‘Oh, well, okay, this one, that’s a cul-de-sac. How do I try this other thing?’”

She added that her work has “absolutely” changed as an artist since she started dating Reeves and that she is immensely grateful to have Reeves in her life:

“He’s such an inspiration to me,” she continued. “He’s so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard.”

Keanu Reeves’s girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, is a visual artist who explores language and written texts through various mediums, including — painting, drawing, sculpture, video, and more.

Both Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant were friends before their feelings turned romantic. Grant helped the star write his picture book, Ode to Happiness (written by Reeves and illustrated by Grant).

According to The New York Times Style Magazine, Reeves and Grant met in 2009 at a dinner party, and just two years later, they published Ode to Happiness together.

In a 2020 interview with British Vogue, Grant recalled that the book was a surprise to Reeves. Who knew the book would be the reason they would fall in love with each other? The artist said:

“The book was made as a surprise, by me, for Keanu, as a private gift,” Grant said. “All our friends sitting in the room got the giggles when I gave it to him — they said, ‘Please publish it!’ So that’s how we got into publishing.”

After almost eight years of relationship, the couple was pictured while attending several red carpet together and were seen holding hands.
