Kim Kardashian’s 10-year-old daughter North West doesn’t hold back while blasting her mother’s Met Gala dress in front of the designer, Schiaparelli’s Daniel Roseberry.
Kim brought North, her 11-year-old niece Penelope, and Penelope’s father Scott Disick to New York as she prepared for her 10th Met Gala.
While Kim – who recently shared family throwback snaps – was thrilled that North thought her dress looked beautiful on a video call in the last episode, North wasn’t exactly thrilled with the dress in person.
Kim reveals in confession, ‘So I have a Met fitting and my dress is made by Schiaparelli, designed by Daniel Roseberry. He’s just the sweetest, I love it so much.’
Kim, North, Penelope and Scott all meet with the designer Roseberry – who serves as the creative director for Schiaparelli – as he tells North, ‘I heard you were into the look.’

Kim Kardashian’s pearl Met Gala outfit gets ROASTED by North
North adds, though, ‘Yeah, well it could be just a little better,’ as Kim asks, ‘How could it be a little bit better? If I had a bra?’
North says, ‘Yes,’ as Kim adds in confession, ‘OK, Daniel, I’m just warning you, North can be critical. I mean, I had John Galliano (creative director of Maison Margiela) fitting me for a dress, and North was giving notes. I mean, it’s just her vibe.’
Kim starts eating a salad while asking North, ‘OK, what are your notes on the dress?’ Though she acknowledges it was, ‘such a compliment’ that she praised the dress.
‘This was the first time North ever said, “Oh wow, that’s beautiful,”’ Kim says, though North disputes that.
‘I never said, “Oh wow,” as they show a flashback to last week’s episode where North was clearly stunned by the dress, as Kim says, ‘That face!’ as North adds, ‘I love it.’
Kim adds, ‘We’ll take it,’ as Daniel adds, ‘We’ll take it, compared to the other reactions I’ve heard,’ as Kim asks again for North’s notes.
‘There’s way too much gaps in the pearls,’ as Daniel admits, ‘I think we felt the same,’ as North adds, ‘It looks like she’s a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped.’
Kim adds, ‘OK, so if we fix the pearls by the legs, because those were all re-strung for us,’ before North drops a huge critique: ‘The pearls look fake.’

Kim immediately retorts, ‘No, no, I think you’re wrong here, because these are very expensive, real pearls. I think you need a lesson on pearls. We’re not going for like flapper girl, we’re going for like vintage, authentic, pearly girly.’
North contends, ‘It’s looking like beach-y,’ as Daniel stifles a laugh, as Kim explains, ‘OK, that’s why we covered the stomach, so it doesn’t look beach-y.’
North adds, ‘It’s like the diamonds ruin it,’ as Daniel admits, ‘This my worst nightmare like come to life,’ as both Kim and North share a laugh.
Kim adds, ‘Listen, you were very positive, that’s why I brought you into this conversation, you were very positive when you saw it.’
North explains, ‘I like the pearls. I just don’t like that it looks like from the Dollar Store,’ as Kim and Daniel try to process this.
‘It’s like I’m being Punk’d, the night before the Met, getting read for filth by a nine-year-old,’ Daniel says, before asking North if she enjoys any of her mom’s previous Met looks.
North explains, ‘My favorite one is the water drips,’ referring to her iconic 2019 Met Gala look designed by Thierry Mugler, which Daniel said was his favorite too.
Kim asks, ‘What about the Balenciaga one with my face covered?’ referring to her all-black 2021 look that saw every inch of her body covered, even her face.

North commented, ‘It looked like you’re getting covered by a plastic bag and you’re suffocating and you can’t see.’
Kim adds that when North was in her belly, she wore a floral dress,’ as Scott mutters, ‘Oh, the couch,’ and North admits, ‘I really don’t like that one.’
Scott adds, ‘Nobody liked that one,’ but Daniel said he loved that one, and Kim did too, as Kim adds, ‘I cried when Robin Williams roasted me and posted, “Who wore it better?” Me and Mrs. Doubtfire.’
Kim added, ‘I cried when I got home but now I love it,’ before telling North, ‘OK, I respect your opinion. Please just be easy on me today, OK?’
North says, ‘I am. I’m not gonna lie… but I won’t say it at all if you don’t want me to, but I’m not gonna lie.’
Kim admits, ‘I would never ask you to lie, baby, OK? Deal.’ Daniel asks if they’re all doing the fitting together, adding he’s, ‘so nervous now.’
