Kim Mulkey Covered Up Rumored Angel Reese Fight With LSU Teammates In Front of Recruits

LSU head women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey stirred up a lot of controversy earlier in the year when she blasted the Washington Post for planning to put out a “hit piece” on her during the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Mulkey claimed that the planned story contained false information, and that she had armed herself with lawyers to fight whatever was being written.

The Washington Post didn’t end up running that version of the story. Yet, Mulkey’s reaction created a lot of intrigue about what the initial version contained.

On Saturday morning, USA Today revealed some of the initial story; which hurls serious allegations at Angel Reese.

The article claimed that, “[the Post story’s author] Babb wrote he received from multiple individuals regarding a [LSU] team meeting in 2022 during which players were required to turn off their phones and leave them in another room while Mulkey addressed the team.”

“Babb wrote, ‘This was after a fight involving Angel Reese, witnessed by one of my sources, that occurred in front of visiting recruits.'” the USA Today article stated.

Clearly Mulkey didn’t want this alleged story of a fight between Reese and LSU teammates to get leaked.

But now it has.
