Kristen Stewart Punched Chris Hemsworth in the Face

In the movie, as Eric tries to capture Snow White, Kristen Stewart is meant to land a punch to protect herself, but instead of pulling off the planned stage punch, the actress inadvertently strikes Chris Hemsworth with a real punch. Recalling the moment she said to Entertainment Weekly:

I punched Chris Hemsworth in the face last week. Gave him a black eye… I was supposed to miss him.”
And I have to say for anyone who’s ever been in that situation where, as a girl, you think it’s not going to do anything – it f**king does something.

He was standing over me, like, Huntsman-ing out, and I just went boom. I spun around. I punched him right out of his close-up! And then I started crying. I felt horrible.”
Though Chris Hemsworth suffered the unexpected punch throughout this incident, he accepted the sudden turn of events with enthusiasm, valuing the added authenticity it gave the action.

Chris Hemsworth is a crybaby, said Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart, the Twilight star accidentally punched her Snow White And The Huntsman co-star in the face during filming. And, the actress called muscle-bound Chris Hemsworth a “crybaby” at the world premiere of the movie in London’s Leicester Square.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to. I accidentally caught him and he’s still crying about it,” she joked.
I think that’s why he is saying that stuff – it’s because he saw the glee in my face before, when I said, ‘Oh my God. I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to’. He saw that moment of realization,” the actress added.

About the punching by Stewart, Hemsworth told GQ:
Oh, yeah, I was more upset she didn’t continue on through the take. She kind of hit me and went ‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry.’ I was like, ‘That would have been the perfect, most truthful take we had.’ I think she was more upset than I was.”
Nevertheless, Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart remain on good terms, the former acknowledging that mishaps do happen sometimes.

Snow White and the Huntsman is currently streaming on Netflix.
