Taylor Swift may not be the only mastermind within the Swift and Kelce families. Kylie Kelce, wife of Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce and sister-in-law to Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, recently confirmed a Swiftie theory that she was behind Taylor’s father Scott Swift’s Eagles lanyard during Super Bowl LVIII, which replaced the Chiefs lanyard he’s recently been seen wearing.

While Scott, 71, is originally from Pennsylvania, he appears to have become a big Kansas City fan when Taylor, 34, started seeing the guy from the Chiefs—but it appears that Kylie, a die-hard Eagles fan, is getting through to him.

In TikTok footage from the Super Bowl on February 11, one Swiftie focused on the Eagles-branded lanyard around Scott’s neck, despite the fact that the rest of his ensemble included Chiefs stuff.

“Kylie and Jason…””I’m onto you,” the video’s creator, Bethenny Pendleton, commented beneath the photos, implying that the couple might have had something to do with Scott’s new Eagles gear. Kylie all but confirmed the hypothesis when she commented on the post, stating, “Have you ever seen the Grinch smile gif?”

Kylie doesn’t appear to be disputing that she and Jason could be responsible for Scott’s lanyard, judging by her reference to the renowned cartoon character’s trademark up-to-no-good smile—but Scott, on the other hand, has previously stated that he does not play favorites.

When reporters approached Scott at LAX earlier this month, he was asked which NFL team he supported, to which he cleverly replied, “I’m a football fan—of all teams.”

Taylor, who grew up an Eagles fan, even included a line about wearing an Eagles T-shirt in her song “Seven” from her latest album—though it’s safe to say she’s surely a Chiefs fan now, thanks to Travis, 34.

Perhaps Scott should follow in the footsteps of Jason and Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, who has been known to wear merchandise for both of her sons’ teams.
