Witnesses to the PDA told TMZ that the Killers of the Flower Moon star ‘seemed to be digging it’ in his new romance with the fashion model, who has more than 1.6 million Instagram followers.

The Titanic leading man and the model turned down the temperature ‘once they realized they were being watched’ and photographed, witnesses told the outlet, and ‘went back inside almost immediately.’

The Departed star was clad in a white T-shirt and baggy black pants with a black mesh cap, as Ceretti appeared to be wearing a red wig and costume.

Sources close to the actor say that he is ‘besotted’ with Ceretti who, at the age of 25, is 23 years his junior.

They also say that the Italian model is being referred to as his ‘girlfriend.’

DiCaprio has a reputation for only dating women age 25 or under and famously tends to break up with them after they pass the milestone – as he did with his last serious girlfriend Camila Morrone, now 26.

The Academy Award-winning star of The Revenant had been secretly jetting around the world with Ceretti throughout the summer – prompting much discussion amongst the star’s friends that he has finally given up his lothario days.

One said: ‘Vittoria is a beautiful girl, but Leonardo is of course surrounded by many beautiful girls most of the time.

‘But he adores her and she him, they have been spending a lot of time together this summer, travelling around on romantic trips.

‘It has obviously led to much chatter within his circle that Leo is ready to hang up his lothario ways. There have been many women pictured with him, partying with him, but what he has with Vittoria is much more serious.’

In September, a source told Page Six that DiCaprio and Ceretti had ‘been spending quite a bit of time together over the past few months.’

The two were ‘enjoying getting to know one another on a deeper level,’ the source said.

Ceretti is the daughter of designer Francesca Lazzari and has modeled for the likes of Alexander McQueen and Versace.

The Balenciaga brand ambassador seems to be well acquainted with a few members of Leonardo’s inner-circle this summer including Fusion model Neelam Kaur Gill and DNA model Meghan Roche.

Back in November, Ceretti made headlines for her reaction to Lily-Rose Depp where she claimed ‘the internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who are casting you in things.’

The model responded: ‘I get the whole “I’m here and I work hard for it,” but I would really love to see if you would have lasted through the first five years of my career.

‘Not only being rejected, because I know you have an experience with it and you can tell me your sad little story about it ‘even if at the end of the day you can still always go cry on your dad’s couch in your villa in Malibu.’

She added, ‘You have no f***ing idea how much you have to fight to make people respect you. TAKES YEARS. you just get it by free day one … I know it’s not your fault, but please, appreciate and know the place you came from.’
