The Chicago Sky fell to 6-11 on the 2024 WNBA season when they lost to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.
Rookie Angel Reese produced her 10th consecutive double-double, which set a WNBA record. But the Sky’s other rookie struggled once again.
Kamilla Cardoso finished with just 3 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes played. The No. 3 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft is getting lost in the shuffle during games and is being outshined by the Sky’s other rookie.
That didn’t stop Reese from sending Cardoso a passionate plea during Sunday’s game.

Reese reentered Sunday’s game in the second quarter during a free throw.
As soon as she got to the block, she turned to Cardoso and appeared to say, “Kamilla! You good! You got it baby!” before motioning to the other side of the court.
A video of Reese’s plea received over 100,000 views on X Sunday.

“Leader,” wrote another.
The Sky will need Cardoso if they’re to make a playoff push.
