For her performance, Moroney traded her signature royal blue for a red mini dress.

Megan Moroney stole the show at this year’s Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) with her striking performance of the fan-favorite tune, “Man On The Moon.”

Stepping away from her usual blue color scheme and into a rhinestone ruby red dress and matching boots, the songstress radiated under the glow of the Nashville, TN skyline behind her. Surrounded by her band and some of her biggest fans Moroney delivered the clever anthem about a man who can’t make up his mind.

Her playful side comes out in full force while expressing the fiery frustrations of her situation before landing on the genius idea to send her man to the moon in order to get as far away from him as possible.

“’Cause he wants me and he needs space/ Someone take this cowboy away/ Somewhere far, let him fly/ Out of this world and off my mind/ C’mon, there’s gotta be a rocket somewhere taking off soon/ I think it’s time we put another man on the moon,” she sings on the chorus, showcasing the grit and power of her vocals.
