Meghan Markle has landed in New York as she is attending a “high-powered” women summit at the Hamptons for this weekend, according to reports. The Duchess of Sussex attended the G9 Ventures Summer Summit, which is hosted by power broker Amy Griffin. It seems that Prince Harry did not made the trip.

Sources say that Markle had to fly to Santa Barbara, California by a private jet with her close friend, make up guru Victoria Jackson. The reason behind this is that she will try and pick up some ideas for her new lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard, which has yet to officially launch but it is coming soon.

The event she is attending is an annual event and it is held at the sprawling home Griffin shares with her husband, billionaire hedge funder John Griffin. This property is valued over $13 million.

Long list of important people for the event

The guest list for the event included another best friend of Meghan Markle, designer Misha Nonoo but she was not the only high regarded guest. Missy Robbins was reportedly also on the list, the chef behind Williamsburg hotspots Lillia and Misi, make-up icon Bobbi Brown and entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima.
