Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of “dropping bombs” on the Royal Family “whenever they need to stoke their reputation” in a scathing attack from royal biographer Tom Bower.

In a week which has seen Harry claim he will “not bring Meghan Markle back to the UK”, Bower predicted that the exiled couple faced a “grim” future away from the Royal Family – and issued a warning that Meghan could deploy a “silent weapon”.

Bower said: “The future for the Sussexes is pretty grim… I think they’re on a permanent decline.

“But whenever they need money, whenever they need publicity to stoke their reputation, they will drop another bomb.”

And the biographer drew attention to Meghan’s own planned literary adventures, hinting that the Duchess of Sussex could join the duke in releasing a stinging memoir of her own.

Speaking to the Sun, Bower added: “We’re still waiting for Meghan’s own autobiography, which I’m sure she’s penning – she’s a good writer, and it will be filled with vitriol and filled with lies.

“She will not tell the truth because she wants a sensational headline.

“That is the ultimate weapon she can deploy.”

And the biographer claimed Meghan would let the dust settle on the rows generated by Harry’s controversial novel, “Spare”, before looking to make a bigger splash.

Bower said she was “reserving” herself, adding that she would rather be seen as “the silent duchess, the silent weapon in reserve”.

The most damaging assault on the royals, according to Bower, came earlier this year – when the Sussexes visited Nigeria.

He claimed the trip – which he had previously told GB News was a move to “embarrass” the Royal Family – put the rest of the house of Windsor in a “very difficult position” – labelling it a “brilliant coup”.

Bower’s comments on Meghan waiting to “drop bombs” follow the news that her “Archetypes” podcast has reportedly been pushed back to 2025.

Archetypes had featured on popular streaming platform Spotify for just one 12-episode season before it was controversially dropped.

Though Markle had successfully reeled in guests like Paris Hilton and Serena Williams, execs at the Swedish sound giant had canned the podcast, with the firm’s “head of podcast innovation”, Bill Simmons, lambasting her and Prince Harry as “f**king grifters”.

Archetypes has since been picked up and renewed by American podcast firm Lemonada Media, with Meghan declaring her pride in sharing that she was set to join the company’s “brilliant team” to “continue her love of podcasting”.
