Ella’s mother claims she did not know that Taylor would be attending the gam

jason Kelce was all over the news for his antics during the Chiefs vs Bills game on Sunday, including lifting 8-year-old Ella Piazza who is a huge fan of Taylor Swift so she could share some love with the pop star.

After Jason Kelce celebrated Travis Kelce’s touchdown by taking off his shirt, he picked up young Ella who was holding an “I love Taylor Swift” sign so the Eras Tour singer could see the girl and say hello. Her mother, Jessica Piazza spoke with the Today show to give the details about what happened.

Jessica Piazza, a long-time Bills fan was interviewed and mentioned “I had no idea how viral it was until I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning to a thousand texts from friends who saw it first on Barstool Sports and then everywhere!”

In the video below you can see how Kelce lifted the little girl who was very happy to meet Taylor and say hello. Jessica commented that it was Ella’s first football game, and is not “totally aware yet” of what happened.

“Ella worked so hard on that sign. And the week prior she was telling all her friends at school that she was going to meet Taylor Swift at the game,” Piazza said. “I knew where we were sitting – and it was clear across the stadium from where the Kelces were probably sitting. But I didn’t want to say anything.”

Ella’s mother claims she did not know that Taylor would be attending the game and would be in the box closest to her.

“It was halftime and a lot of people had left their seats to go to the bathroom or get a drink or whatever, and so we just tried climbing up higher and higher. It was really Ella who was forging the path,” Jessica mentioned.

Jessica thought mistook Jason Kelce for Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Bills’ former QB who made a habit of taking off his shirt, however, she later recognized Kelce and let Ella go with him.

Jessica also elaborated on what happened when Ella saw Taylor “She waved back and smiled, And Ella was in absolute heaven. She still probably doesn’t realize what a big star Jason Kelce also is. She just couldn’t believe she saw Taylor! The rest of the game she was on cloud nine.”
