Sydney Sweeney Swoons Over Dakota Johnson And Fifty Shades Of Grey
During a quick interview at the LACMA Art & Film Gala via Variety, actress Sydney Sweeney reveals she felt a little tense meeting and working with The Social Network star Dakota Johnson. The Euphoria actress also revealed she’s a huge fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise:
“I was a little nervous. I have to say, I snuck [and watched] Fifty Shades of Grey in high school. My parents didn’t let me watch it, and I watched it, and so I’m a huge fan of her. She’s so hot! But Dakota, you’re hot, and I loved working with you.”
In another interview with Total Film, Sweeney raved about the upcoming movie that she “can’t wait to be able to talk about” and her lovely time with the ladies she worked with on the set:
“I can’t wait to be able to be next to the girls that I filmed with, Dakota and Isabela, and Celeste. We had so much fun together. And I’m really excited that it’s just gonna be a powerhouse of badass females for the world to see.”
Dakota Johnson
Johnson, on the other hand, spoke with Variety and shared her experience transforming into a superhero and joining the franchise:
“It was a wild experience. I don’t think you can be prepped to go into anything like that, but I learned so much.”
What Is Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web About?
For those who are not familiar with Madame Web, it features the Marvel heroine Cassandra Webb, a mutant with psychic and clairvoyant abilities with a neurological disease. This required her to depend on a life-support system shaped like a giant spider web. Madame Web served as a medium for many heroes.

Sydney Sweeney’s character, on the other hand, becomes the second Spider-Woman and, later, the second Madame Web. When Dakota Johnson’s original heroine died, she passed on her powers to Julia Carpenter. The latter would lose her sight but gain psychic abilities.
Apart from Johnson and Sweeney, the film will also include Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, Mike Epps, Tahar Rahin, and Zosia Mamet.
Madame Web is currently slated for a February 14, 2024 release.
