With the NFL star’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, nominated for six awards at this weekend’s upcoming Grammy Awards, Kelce, 34, has confirmed he won’t be able to attend the annual show, which takes place on Sunday, Feb. 4 in downtown Los Angeles.Then, Kelce slyly added, “But I think I’ve got practice on Sunday.”
The Chiefs tight end wasn’t certain if his team would use Saturday as a practice day and Sunday as a travel day, but Kelce explained that his schedule just won’t allow for him to attend the show while staying focused on Kansas City’s fourth Super Bowl in five years.
“Unfortunately, I’ve gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week,” Kelce added on the show.
