Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud made quite the impression on the NFL world in year one. While many thought he would struggle with little help around him, the second-overall pick flourished, leading his team to the playoffs while earning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

The sky is the limit for the gifted former Ohio State Buckeye — although, some seem to think that there is suddenly reason to worry about Stroud.

At some point last week, Stroud was spotted getting into his vehicle with Amber Rose following a celebrity softball game.

NFL fans immediately began to worry, fearing this relationship could mark the beginning of the end for Stroud’s football career.

Of course, Rose seemed to put those worries to rest when she came out and stated that Stroud was simply giving her a ride back to her hotel after her sprinter took off without her.

Are the worried fans buying Amber’s story? It doesn’t sound like it. If Stroud struggles early one in his sophomore campaign, she should expect to receive the brunt of the blame for it.
