The Justin Fields trade rumor mill has been buzzing since last month, but the Chicago Bears quarterback remains a member of said team despite the fact it appears almost certain the team will draft Caleb Williams with the top pick in next month’s draft.
There’s a very good chance the Patriots look toward the future by drafting Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels with their third overall pick, but they could also do something right now and have a player with experience leading the team.
A heavy rumor circulating the web says the team is seriously considering trading for Justin Fields and as they are only “in love” with 2 of the 3 prospects.

The biggest risk for the team is if Maye or Daniels becomes a star and Fields never develops to what people thought he would be after the trade. It would be the type of move that gets a bunch of people fired if it doesn’t work out.
Regardless, adding Fields could at least bring some intriguing energy to Foxborough as the fan base is already thrilled Mac Jones is gone.
