Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is making the most of her first WNBA offseason. After an impressive rookie year, Clark has been spotted at an Indiana Pacers game, the Pacers Foundation Golden Gala, on the golf course and even at a Halloween party.

On Friday, Clark returned to her alma mater, the University of Iowa, where she played her college basketball from 2020-24.

While back in Iowa City, she caught up with former teammates Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall and Jada Gyamfi who also came back to visit their old team.

The group stopped by a team practice, and one play caught everyone’s attention, especially Clark.

The 2024-25 Hawkeyes appeared to be scrimmaging against the team managers, some of which are male.

Kylie Feuerbach made a pass to Addison O’Grady between one of the defender’s legs. O’Grady fed the ball back to Feuerbach again, and then the two worked a give-and-go that O’Grady finished for an easy layup.

That’s when Clark exploded, running onto the court, screaming with a big smile on her face. The video was posted by @IowaWBB and instantly went viral.

Clark is known to show her playful side. She’s done it in the past at Iowa and this past season with the Fever.

During her time with the Hawkeyes, the former No. 1 overall pick led the Hawkeyes to four NCAA Tournament appearances and two national championship games.

In her final season, she won the 2024 Naismith Trophy and averaged 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.

Clark’s rookie year in the WNBA was just as impressive. The 6-foot-0 guard was named a WNBA All-Star, won the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award and finished in the Top 5 for the MVP voting.

She finished averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and a league-leading 8.4 assists per game.
