The lower range of $3.5 million was reported by New York Times whereas The Richest reported his salary as $7 million. The actor himself has not publicly disclosed the truth about his First Blood salary.
By the time Rambo III was released in 1988, Stallone was at the peak of stardom and quadrupled (or doubled) his salary to a staggering $16 million, the same as his salary for The Expendables. The Assassins actor received the same $16 million for several of his other films, including Rocky V.
