Caitlin Clark has hyped up her city after the WNBA announced Indianapolis would host the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where Clark and the Indiana Fever play, was selected to host the 21st edition of this special game.

Being the star and face of the Fever, Clark is expected to be very busy during the 2025 All-Star weekend. However, she joked with reporters about the possibility of serving as an ambassador of the event when the biggest WNBA players land in Indianapolis.

“Oh gosh, no. I mean, I’ll be hiding. I’m just happy I’ll be able to sleep in my own bed… but honestly, like I’m really happy for our organization and our franchise and the city of Indianapolis. I think it’s a testament to how they’ve supported us throughout the year and the first 26 games. We got a ton of fans on the road, a ton of fans–Every single game has been sold out. You can just feel the buzz and excitement,” Clark said.

She also predicted good things about the event, saying they would do everything to make this event special.

“I don’t think there’s a better place for the All-Star Game to go next year. I think everybody knew that. So I know they’re gonna do everything they can to make this All-Star Game the best there’s ever been in WNBA history and I think that’s something that’s easily going to be accomplished,” she continued.

Meanwhile, she’s ready to resume the season with the Indiana Fever against the Phoenix Mercury tonight. Caitlin Clark is one of the best players in the league, even as a rookie, and her journey is just starting.

Caitlin Clark gets honest about her time off the court

Caitlin Clark didn’t mince words when explaining how important it was for her to get some rest. She needed a break after playing non-stop in her final season in college and during the first 26 duels of her professional career.

“I think the time off was just really helpful for all of us, from a standpoint of getting reset mentally, emotionally, physically, just because the first part of our schedule was so demanding and there as always so much eyeballs on us, too many people watching, always a spotlight so it’s good to have that reset,” Clark said (via Indiana Fever on X).

Caitlin Clark finished the first half of the season on a high note, without having proper rest. If she comes back better than before, the Fever will be a serious threat.
