Marshall shared on an episode of Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out podcast, released on Monday, that Swift had expressed her admiration for Kelce’s comedic charm before they met. He jokingly suggested that his comedy group, Please Don’t Destroy, may have played a small role in bringing them together.
Marshall recalled working with both Swift and Kelce separately before their relationship blossomed. Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had hosted the sketch comedy show in March 2023, where Marshall’s group collaborated with him.
