Since the moment Taylor Swift announced her Eras Tour, there was no denying that it will be one of the most iconic tours to remember. Whether she’s breaking records or breaking Ticketmaster, Taylor Swift has proven time and again that she’s one of the most enigmatic figures in modern music — and the Eras Tour is a manifestation of that.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Sales in France Halted
Taylor Swift‘s fans are in disharmony as sales for the singer’s Eras Tour in the French cities of Paris and Lyon were abruptly halted by Ticketmaster on Tuesday. Ticketmaster’s Twitter account said, “The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.” It further added, “All codes not already used will remain valid.”
Taylor Swift extends her Eras Tour.
The issue arose due to a technical glitch on Ticketmaster causing people to be unable to log into the website with their passwords. There came a point when nearly one million fans were queued up to purchase tickets.
A similar issue also occurred on day one and Taylor Swift expressing regret over the issue at the time said,
“I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could. It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”
Taylor Swift Extends Her The Eras Tour Into Summer 2024 In Europe

The tour is now expected to continue into the summer of 2024, starting in May in Paris, France, and will span across mid-August and conclude with a grand finale at Wembley Stadium in London.
