The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl again. At this point, it’s shocking if they do not make the big game since having Patrick Mahomes under center.
In a thrilling AFC Championship showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs, led by their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, secured a spot in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the last five seasons. This may have easily been the hardest road as the Chiefs had one home game in the Wild Card round against the Miami Dolphins and then Patrick Mahomes faced his first hostile road playoff crowds when he won at Highmark Stadium against the Buffalo Bills and then at M&T Bank Stadium when he took down the Baltimore Ravens.
As the Chiefs look ahead to the Super Bowl, Randi Mahomes, the mother of Patrick, took to her Instagram story this week to post a cryptic message.
“NEVER WORRY about who will be offended if you speak the TRUTH. Worry about who will be misled, deceived & destroyed if you don’t,” Randi Mahomes posted on her IG Stories.
This could be about the many things being said about Brittany Mahomes or just critics in general who had something to say about the Chiefs all year long.
The Kansas City Chiefs will be wearing their home red jerseys when they take the field against the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
The teams will be wearing the same uniform colors from Super Bowl LIV in February 2020. It’s a good omen as the Chiefs recorded a 31-20 victory over the 49ers in that game.
