Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, shared a curious message Wednesday on social media, days after her son led the Chiefs to an AFC Championship win over the Ravens.

“NEVER WORRY about who will be offended if you speak the TRUTH. Worry about who will be misled, deceived & destroyed if you don’t,” the message read on Randi’s Instagram Stories.

Though the context is unclear, the message was shared in the wake of post-AFC Championship drama involving Randi’s daughter-in-law, Brittany Mahomes.

While walking through M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday with her Chiefs quarterback husband following the team’s 17-10 victory, Brittany was seen in a video asking a stadium employee, “Where do we go from here?” as she twirled her finger in a circle.

The moment was shared on TikTok by CBS, with some fans calling out Brittany’s “high horse” behavior.

The mother of two, who has been married to Mahomes since March 2022, shared a cryptic social media post on Wednesday.

“I take rumors as a compliment. The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered,” Brittany’s message read on her Instagram Stories.

Despite the outside noise, the Mahomes family is enjoying this victory lap as the Chiefs prepare for Super Bowl 2024 against the 49ers.

Randi shared a celebratory photo Sunday that featured daughter Mia and son Jackson smiling with Brittany and the newest addition to Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift, who is dating tight end Travis Kelce.

“Chiefs headed to Super Bowl!! My team! My family!” Randi exclaimed on Instagram.

In a separate post, she gushed over son Patrick, 28, who is making his fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons.

“I can literally say I can’t remember a time you didn’t have a ball in your hand or something you wanted to play catch with. Easter egg, gum ball, or even socks. I’m super proud of you and I admire your hard work and dedication. I love you and so proud. Enjoy every moment son,” Randi wrote.

Mahomes won his first Super Bowl in February 2020 when the Chiefs topped the 49ers, 31-20.

Though the Chiefs fell short a year later, losing 31-9 to the Buccaneers, Kansas City bounced back in February 2023 with a 38-35 Super Bowl victory against the Eagles.

Super Bowl 2024 gets underway at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.
