Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes have cemented their unbreakable bond over the past few years. Always grateful for the other, Mahomes and his family have made sure to give back to the community whenever possible.

This includes Mahomes, his wife Brittany and his mother Randi. The family is involved in multiple communal activities, including a few charity events.

According to a new announcement, Randi Mahomes will team up with Variety KC (a Kansas City non-profit) to host a charity pickleball tournament. Though featuring other spouses and mothers, Mahomes’ mother seems to be headlining the tourney.

“Serving aces, drives, and hearts, we invite you to join us for the Variety KC x Randi Mahomes Heart & Serve Pickleball Tournament! 🏓 All proceeds will directly benefit Variety KC!” the announcement read.

“Watch thrilling matches featuring talented spouses and mothers of your favorite Kansas City Chiefs star players as they showcase their skills on the court.”

The proceeds, of course, will go directly to Variety KC. They offer everyone refreshments from their court cafe and children will have Variety KC Kid Zone to keep them entertained.

Based in KC, Variety KC is meant to make a “difference in the lives of children” in their community.

Whether Randi Mahomes will play in the tournament has not been revealed yet.

Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi remains proud of the Kansas City Chiefs QB

There’s no denying the ever-present spotlight on Patrick Mahomes’ family.

Fans remain interested in the star player’s personal life, some going out of their way to support the Mahomes family.

Randi, of course, remains incredibly proud of her Super Bowl-winning son, especially if he does not play as long as Tom Brady. On The Mom Game podcast in June, Randi spoke about Mahomes’ opinion.

“I hear him, you know, make comments like, ‘If the game takes away from my kids, I might not play as long as Tom Brady’ and I’m like I’m so proud of him for that,” Randi Mahomes said [Timestamp: 24:32].

With the 2024 NFL season here, one can expect Randi to cheer for her son from the sidelines.
