Luana Alonso is back on social media following reports claiming she was sent home from the Olympic Games in Paris due to “inappropriate behavior.”
The Paraguayan swimmer has denied that she was asked to leave the games despite assertions to the contrary. She doesn’t appear bothered by the reports, as she’s taken to Instagram with another revealing snap.
Alonso shared a photo collage to her IG Story showing her body off in a topless selfie, with her lower body covered in a towel. Another photo shows her wearing a cowgirl ensemble in which her long legs are exposed.
She captioned the image “life been good,” suggesting she’s put the negative reports behind her.

Luana Alonso Did Not Have The Best Time At The Olympics
Luana Alonso made headlines while in Paris, though for the wrong reasons. Paraguayan Olympic Committee General Manager Larissa Schaerer disclosed that the swimmer’s presence in Olympic Village had a disturbing effect on the team, claiming there was some tension over her choosing to visit a tourist destination instead of supporting her teammates.
It was also said that her skimpy outfits proved distracting.
Alonso was asked to leave the village but is understood to have returned the following day. She denied the claims as she urged everyone to stop spreading fake news.
As for her Olympic participation, Luana Alsonso didn’t give a great account of herself as she failed to qualify for the 100-meter butterfly semifinals. She abruptly retired after her exit.
Still, her time in Paris caused her social media following to swell to over 1.2 million followers, and it appears she made hundreds of thousands of new fans despite the controversy.
