Prince William takes Queen Camilla’s sister, Annabel Elliot, off payroll
One of those moves was taking Annabel Elliot, the sister of Queen Camilla, off of the Duchy of Cornwall payroll. William took over as the Duke of Cornwall in 2022 after King Charles ascended to the throne, and it was recently revealed that he did not pay for Elliot’s services in 2023-24.

Elliot, the 75-year-old younger sister of Camilla, has been an interior designer and antiques dealer for a very long time. After Camilla’s marriage to Charles, Elliot became the chief interior designer of his estates and particularly worked on renovating Duchy of Cornwall cottages.
According to sources who spoke to the Daily Telegraph, the decision from William had nothing to do with the quality of her work. It’s not known if Elliot or Camilla feel the same way about the decision.
