Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever are in a great mood after successfully slaying a giant on Saturday, as they just beat the New York Liberty at home to the tune of an 83-78 score.

Although Caitlin Clark is getting most of the flowers after that game, Boston surely deserves lots of praise as well, as she put together a solid 18-point performance.

While fans were busy celebrating the Fever’s win, Boston made a request to everyone concerning the right spelling of her name.

“Guys, my name only has one “A” in the front! Aliyah,” Boston posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Boston was instrumental in the Fever’s latest victory. Apart from her scoring production, she pulled down eight rebounds, dished out two assists, and swatted away two Liberty shots for another impressive outing on both ends of the floor.

Despite some fans fumbling the spelling of her name, Boston remains one of the most talked-about Fever players given her big role on the team.

The Fever have won two of their last three games and will look to keep the good times rolling when they host the Washington Mystics this coming Wednesday.
