Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend Connor McCaffery continue to exchange heartwarming messages on social media. A few months ago, they greeted each other on Instagram to celebrate one year of dating. Clark said in her post that “she can’t wait for many more adventures together” before finishing it with “I love you.”
While Clark is competing in the WNBA, McCaffery has also been busy helping the Indiana Pacers Summer League team. Clark’s boyfriend was in Las Vegas for a few weeks for the said competition. Following the Pacers’ final game, he posted this on IG:
“Year 1 in the books.”
Caitlin Clark promptly replied:
“Proud of u [black heart emoji]”
When Clark played her final season at Iowa, McCaffery had already accepted an assistant coaching role with the Indiana Pacers. He took the job as he expressed his excitement to “learn from someone else.” McCaffery played his entire collegiate career in Iowa under the tutelage of his father and coach Fran McCaffery.
The younger McCaffery said in a Des Moines Register report his willingness and eagerness to work hard:
“It’s kind of all-hands on deck, whatever you’re asked to do, be ready to do it. It’s a way in. It’s an entry-level job. You’ve got to work hard and work your way up. That’s obviously what I want to do.”
It’s also a job that doesn’t get the spotlight even when a team performs well. Unlike Caitlin Clark, Connor McCaffery will be working behind the scenes. She is just so proud of what he has accomplished since he started working with the Pacers.
Caitlin Clark greeted her boyfriend Connor McCaffery on his birthday
Nine days ago, Connor McCaffery celebrated his 26th birthday. It wasn’t surprising that Caitlin Clark went on Instagram to greet and shower him with love:
“Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life [black heart emoji].”
Clark couldn’t resist taking a dig at him and added:
“May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always.”
Connor McCaffery had a superb response to the jest:
“And I’ll keep letting you win those shooting contests!!!!!”
Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery are living in Indiana. The Fever drafting her couldn’t have been more convenient as McCaffery works for the Pacers. With the Summer League over and the WNBA taking a long break for the Olympics, they will have more time to spend with each other.
