After teenage sprinter Quincy Wilson got back to the United States following the Olympics, his very first post on TikTok was about him catching up to all the reading work he needed to do for school. Wilson is still in high school, and he’s not exempt from doing his necessary activities while on break.

When former American track and field star Justin Gatlin saw Wilson’s post, however, he only had one question for the youngster: “You rocking the medal on the first day of school?”

Gatlin, who won five Olympic medals in his track and field career, made the comment on ESPN’s post of the TikTok video on Instagram, which tagged Wilson. And it’s definitely a fair question to ask. After all, Wilson has every reason to be proud of what he accomplished in this year’s Summer Games.

For those who missed it, Quincy Wilson was part of Team USA that won gold in the 4×400-meter relay. While he didn’t run in the final, he did participate in the qualifying round along with Vernon Norwood, Bryce Deadmon and Christopher Bailey
