Patrick Mahomes has been climbing the ladder of success in his professional career. Now, the quarterback has a new weapon in his arsenal and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared her excitement about it.
The Kansas City Chiefs picked wide receiver Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Chiefs traded their 32nd pick to gain the 28th spot from the Buffalo Bills and plucked the 21-year-old off the board.
Worthy registered the quickest time at the NFL Combine earlier this year, clocking his 40-yard dash at 4.21 seconds. After last year’s lack of options for Patrick Mahomes in the receiver department, he now has a shiny new speedster at his disposal.
Brittany took to Instagram to share the video of Mahomes throwing a 60-yard ball to Worthy at training camp. This video has gone viral and will presumably haunt league defenses. Brittany reposted the video on her Instagram stories with the caption:

Apart from welcoming the new WR, Britanny and Patrick Mahomes are set to welcome their third child as well. However, the three-time Super Bowl winner said this might well be his last child. Mahomes, after a training session, said to the media:
“I’m done. I’ll say that. I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in the locker room, I think I’ve talked about it before — it made such an impact in my life, so I wanted to have kids young.
“We still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things. I said three and I’m done.”
The Mahomes hosted a grand gender reveal celebration as well, informing fans of welcoming another baby girl into their lives.
